This component allows students to relax and have fun through a programme of supervised activities, such as football, badminton, basketball and arts and crafts.
At the heart of every Bell Young Learner course lies 15 hours of language tuition each week. The language lessons provide a foundation for the rest of the course, so that students can get the most out of their experience. The morning language lessons are built around a themed project, which the teachers and students agree at the beginning of the course. Previous projects have included: The Environment, All About Me, Pirate Adventure and Comparing Cultures.
Students prepare for the study tour in class prior to the trip and during the day they will complete a worksheet and use what they have learnt in their class work. Their worksheets will form part of their language portfolio.
The Leys School, Cambridge
Four full days and four half days per course. The programme includes a weekend visit to London. Other study tour destinations may include Cambridge, Stratford-upon-Avon, Nottingham, Norwich and Colchester.
Perfect for advanced students who want to study
British culture and language at a high level
This course focuses on British life, literature, culture and heritage and gives students the opportunity to explore Britain. In the six hour study option students learn about different aspects of British culture and then use the study tours to explore topics further in class. On the two-day trip to London, students learn about Shakespeare and then visit the world-famous Globe Theatre to see a play performed.
Our Young Learners follow a busy timetable (at least eight hours per day). Our courses are made up from a blend of components, click on each element in the graphic for more information.
